Young Men’s Group
The young men’s project provides a safe environment to meet and discuss current affairs and issues that affect the local community and the young men within it. We hold weekly discussion on topics such as teenage parents, peer pressure, gangs, relationships and media perceptions of young men. We have a safe and supportive environment in which to explore individual perceptions and stereotypes. Each month guest speakers such as community police officers, black historians and community activists are invited to attend the sessions in order to enhance the discussions.
Meetings every Friday from 5-00pmto 6-30pm.
